Set during the Great Depression, this is the story of two migrant field workers in California. George Milton and Lennie Small dream of owning a small farm someday. They find work on a ranch in California’s Salinas Valley. Lennie is fond of touching soft things, and dreams of owning rabbits on the farm. However, his dream works against him as he is accused of rape for holding on to a lady’s dress just to feel the fabric. Lennie’s own strength and naivete and George’s protective feelings towards him form the rest of the story as they struggle against misunderstanding, jealousy and the impossibility of their own dream in that day and age.

Delivery
