Sign Up and Login
There are 3 methods of Sign Up on Lafz Bookstore: 1) Using your registered E-Mail ID and providing the relevant details. 2) Using Google Account for auto Sign Up. Here you don’t need to provide the details. 3) Using Facebook Account auto Login feature.
Orders
Customer will receive a verification call on order of product/products. Product specifications if any must be verified as well as address. You can specify the preferred delivery time when the verification call is made.
Delivery
Dispatch and delivery: All orders are dispatched the same day. Delivery takes within 1 day in Srinagar, within 3 days in the rest of Jammu & Kashmir, and 3 to 10 days in the rest of India, depending on the location. Local deliveries are made during working hours, 10 am to 6 pm, and not on Sundays, national holidays, hartals or curfews.
Delivery charges: In Srinagar city (PIN codes 1900xx), delivery is free on orders above ₹700 and ₹50 on orders below ₹700. For the rest of Jammu & Kashmir, delivery is free on orders above ₹800, otherwise the charge is ₹40 + ₹10 per book. For the rest of India, delivery is free on orders above ₹1,000, otherwise the charge is ₹40 + ₹10 per book. The exact charge is shown at checkout.
Cash on Delivery: Full Cash on Delivery is available at checkout in Srinagar. For all other areas we offer Part COD: pay 25% of your books and shipping amount online first as the order confirmation amount, and pay the rest in cash when your parcel is delivered. Part COD adds ₹50 extra courier charges. If you refuse or do not accept the parcel, the confirmation amount is non-refundable. Prepaid orders get 5% off with coupon code PREPAID and pay no COD charge.
Return Policy
We have a return policy for Defected products (example: Missing pages, Bad printing quality). We cannot accept returns for the errors made on customer’s side (example: Change of mind, Syllabus changed after delivery of the product) If a product is defected, Return can be initiated by contacting us via the number provided, e-mailing us, or any of our social media handles. Returning of products must be done within first three (3) days after delivery. Customers can opt for Replacement/Moneyback option for any defects detected within 3 days after delivery. Against return of any product 100% cashback can be availed by Customer but after a processing period of 2 days after delivery. Any Product without a defect or any error from our side cannot be returned. In exceptional cases where a return is issued for any other matter, a pickup charge of Rs.50 will be levied on the customer.
Promotional Policy
While accepting to create an account on lafzbookstore.com – you agree to be subscribed to our promotional policy. Promotion on lafzbookstore.com can be via promotional messages on user’s registered number or on user’s Email ID or on both platforms.
