Attributes of the Righteous Wife is a short booklet by Shaykh Abdur Razzaq ibn Abdul Muhsin al-Abbaad al-Badr, a scholar who teaches at the Islamic University of Madinah and at Masjid an-Nabawi. The original Arabic title is Sifat az-Zawjah as-Salihah. The booklet gathers verses of the Qur’an and sayings of the Prophet ﷺ about the qualities expected of a righteous wife.

About the author

Shaykh Abdur Razzaq was born in 1963 in Az-Zulfi, Saudi Arabia, and is the son of the hadith scholar Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al-Abbaad. He studied under his father and other scholars. His other works include a book on the causes of increase in faith and a book on the fiqh of supplications and remembrances.
