About Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan

Shaykh Salih ibn Fawzan al-Fawzan was born in 1935 in Ash-Shamasiyyah in the Qassim region of Saudi Arabia. He completed his studies at the Institute of Knowledge in Buraydah and then at the College of Shariah in Riyadh, and he later earned a master’s degree and a doctorate in fiqh. He is a member of the Council of Senior Scholars and of the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta, and he teaches and gives lessons as an imam and instructor in Riyadh. He also answers questions on the radio programme Nur ala ad-Darb. His works are widely used by students of knowledge, and many of his short books have been translated into English.
