Macbeth is undoubtedly one of Shakespeare’s most outstanding plays. It is not the greatest treasure of English dramatic literature, as a critic thinks ; nor is it the most glorious of Shakespeare’s plays, as another says. But it is a fascinating work and it keeps us spell-bound throughout. Its most striking quality is its psychological depth, and it is remarkable for the character of lady Macbeth. Its varied and highly imaginative imagery is another of its noteworthy qualities. And there is of course, its great poetry. This edition of the play is intended to meet the examination requirements of advanced students of English Literature at Indian Universities. There is another purpose behind this edition: to enhance and heighten the student’s appreciation of a great play by the greatest of all English playwrights. Prof. Ramji Lall has been Formerly Principal of Dyal Singh College (University of Delhi). He authored quite a large number of critical studies on English literature which have been well received all over. He is also associated with large number of examining bodies.

Expected time taken to dispatch the items is given against each product on the respective product details page. While we will try our best to dispatch products as soon as possible however in unusual circumstances the delivery of the products may take up to 7-15 days approx as per local guidelines.
In the unlikely event that we are not able to deliver your order completely, we shall cancel the remaining undelivered part of the order, and send an email to you informing about the same. In such cases, your payment against the undelivered part of the order shall be refunded, in the manner the payment was made
