Product Description
This set brings together two popular textbooks by Hafiz Abdur Rahman Amritsari: Kitab un-Nahw, on Arabic grammar, and Kitab us-Sarf, on Arabic morphology. Both have been taught in madrasas for generations.
Kitab un-Nahw is divided into short lessons, each explaining one rule in easy Urdu, followed by practice (mashq): translating Arabic sentences into Urdu, Urdu into Arabic, and spotting and correcting mistakes. Kitab us-Sarf teaches how Arabic words are formed and changed, with clear conjugation tables and rules for special verb types such as mudha’af.
Together they give students a strong foundation for reading the Qur’an, Hadith and classical Arabic texts.
