About the author

Dr. Muhammad Abdul Hai Arifi (RH) was born in 1898 in British India and passed away on 27 March 1986. He became a disciple of Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (RH) in 1927 and received authorisation in the Chishti spiritual path from him in 1935. In his later years he served as president of Darul Uloom Karachi, from 1976 until his passing, and many well-known scholars, among them Mufti Taqi Usmani and Mufti Rafi Usmani, benefited from his spiritual guidance. His writings focus on correct belief, sound practice and good character, and Uswa E Rasool Akram is counted among his best-known works.
